A Guitalele is like a regular guitar if it had a capo on the 5th fret - that is to say it is tuned the same but the lowest string is an "A" instead of an "E". All your usual chord shapes will work but will be in a higher key.

They use nylon strings and so have a mellow sound. This example plays particularly well and also has electrics, so you can plug it into an amp!

Suitable for anyone and also particularly well suited to those with smaller hands
